1. The organization should promote leadership,
understanding, cooperation and cultural
sensitivity.
2. The organization should be student run
organization. Autonomy for the organization should
be a high priority.
3. The fall conference should promote leadership
and the spring conference should promote political
action.
4. The organization should be the voice for
Alaskan students on all pertinent issues.
5. Conferences should be school based, as a
benefit to hosting schools for the growth and
leadership opportunities provided through the act
of conducting a conference.
6. Conferences should rotate to allow
participating students exposure to a variety of
Alaskan communities and lifestyles.
